So I get this speed as the incompetent and hopeless Vision Stream workers who mainly have the contract for the NBN rollout hit a major cable that is currently affecting 300 customers in my area. Only have internet and home phone still isn't working and hasn't since about midday. Rang Telstra and they ran tests and they said there was no outages in the area. Was going out to get dinner and seen a Telstra worker down on his hands and knees in the rain trying to find the cable that was hit, Feel very sorry for him.

A steady 2100 doesn't really exsist. For a sudden spike yeah, I've had that too. But steady, it doesn't stay that high.

Well it can sometimes stay steady for around a day Max, well not steady more like 1500-2100 but most days it behaves and I get a nice stable 70

my 700 ping is low, it does not get lower than that, ever.
