Default Quick Q

Anyone know of a Socket 939 board that supports DDR400, and AGP8x?
Catch is; it has to be mATX...

Been searching and can't find one for sale

Here are a couple. Well, one uses integrated graphics and the other one has an AGP port:

BIOSTAR GEFORCE 6100-M9 Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
http://www.clubit.com/product_detail...emno=CA4844015

with AGP:

MSI K8T NEO2-F V2.0 K8T800 Pro Socket 939 1000MHz DDR400 Motherboard Retail ***Free Shipping***
800/1000FSB, ATA/133, AGP 8X, 2DDR DIMM, 4PCI, USB 2.0, Audio, Gigabit LAN, RAID/SATA
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=249642

But the motherboard looks to be an ATX form factor. It's rare you'll find one in mATX these days.

Yeah, I'm planning on building a LANParty Case...
I've got everything for it, except the mobo, lol
And I want to keep costs of mobo+ram around 140-150 bucks..
So, I was looking for something to support the CPU I bought today, a 3700 in socket 939, but it would also have to support my AGP8x 6800GS.. RAM is cheap, so DDR2 is a possiblity.

It's going to be hard to get unless you go with one of those two motherboards I linked above. The hardware has been discontinued which is not good news for you. Everything is now PCI-express, DDR2, and Socket AM2. DDR3 is top of the line right now (expensive) along with quad core CPU support and PCI-express 2.0.

Yeah, I know...
I don't even know if they made mATX boards with AGP.
Don't forget.. I can also go with a DDR2 board, if it's cheap enough that I can get some other memory.

Damn, I thought I had one here:

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10006261

But it doesn't support AGP graphics card. Are you sure you don't want to upgrade your video card instead? There are tons of Socket 939 supported motherboards that are microATX form factors with PCI-express slots. AGPs is the killer here because they're almost wiped off the face of the earth.

It's not bad. It will work. It's a bit more than what you intended, but due to availability, it's pretty good.
