Yeah, no matter how small the cost is, if someone can still get something for free they will.

The Price of CDs/DVDs cannot go alot lower than they currently are. When you consider sales tax, the retailers share, shipping, producing the movie etc only a small percentage remains.

Yeah that is very true. In my media and culture course I took last semester, we learned that the actual band/singer only gets about 1.35 USD per. cd.

I heard they weren't doing cases like this anymore, they would just disconnect your internet and make you pay a smaller fine plus get rid o all the songs. I could be wrong though. I could have sworn it was talked about on this forum

Also, how do they expect some average person to come up with that kind of money. That's more than alot of people see in their entire lifetime.
