Default Question involving mics and stuff.

So i've got this project in my Graphic Design class that involves making a radio commercial and i want to do it with actual voice and music. Also my friend wants to help me, i have a Mac he has a PC and he lives a loooooong way from me (like 2,000 miles). So my question is, how can we do this commercial using our Mics on our computers? If there's a program it will have to be both Mac and PC compatible. Any help is appreciated, if i'm not being clear enough i'm sorry and let me know so i can try to explain better.

Well, we want to record it, but we want to be able to do it like a skit, one person talk, then the other. So yeah i guess live is the correct term.

Do you know how to record Skype phone calls? Cause that would work perfect.
