Question about DVD burning.

So im trying to make a DVD playable disk so we can all watch it with our family.

Its a AVI format. I gat a program called "Cucusoft RMVB DivX-AVI to DVD-VCD-SVCD Converter Pro 7.07"

I then converted it to DVD and burned it using 8x.

It work on our DVD player but the whole move it like skipping ever 2/3 seconds there is a half a second pause and it goes like this threw the entire film.... but it works fine on my PC.

What am I doing wrong?

Hmm... TRY burning it at a slower speed - x4 or even x2. It might help.

As well as what has already been mentioned...

It could be the format of the DVD (if it's -R, +R, -RW, +RW). Some DVD players can't read/play certain formats. I recommend you use -R (if you are not already) as that is the most likely to work.

I think you were right jmacavali,

I brought my dvd player from my room upstairs and the DVD worked with no problems
