I'd argue with my parents about it...maybe...but I wouldn't sue them. This is absurd. I wonder how this girl would react if in 30 years her kid did that to her.
I remember seeing that when it happened the first time and my wife and I were talking about it. When we were 12 it was pretty common for an ass whoopin for something like that. Grounding being overturned by a court just seems like a smack in the face by the legal system. My thoughts on the whole thing are as follows... Make a call to Division of Child Services, Tell them you have a healthy 12 year old, And you need to find her a good foster home. Actually you can scratch the good part cuz really who the hell cares she will just sue to get what she wants. I personally woulda said to this lil POS kid that its all good go ahead and sue me and guess what your going to be on your own from now on. Another kid who thinks they own the world and its sad that the judge allowed it to go on.
Quebec is only Canadian by a technicality. Really, all the special promotion stores etc.. put on all say "Quebec residents excluded". Quebec tried to become its own country in the 90's.
BTW, I would sue the government if I was the father. Im sure you could find some lawyers who wanted the publicity.
HAH man internet wasnt common in households untill I was in grade 9.
