PS3 European Launch DELAYED

No mark, think about it, they had a release date on the console - 360 was really delayed at all, the big thing is - its before christmas and for months since E3 people have been looking to this release - now they are let down and pissed of!

Fact is, Sony have chosen the more lucrative but not neccesarily loyal market of the East and USA - over the loyal sony fans - well, i say drop them sony fans! Lets go for a 360!

I just wish I was impressed by any Next Gen console. The only one that has is the Wii, and I'm usually impressed by graphics like I said, but I feel it doesn't need that to be good, while the other 2 do, but fail badly in that deparment (least now)

The ps2 was a very unreliable console

Hmmm... mine's still working perfectly after 5.25 years, maybe I was just lucky?

Anyways, I'm not buying an overpriced DVD player. Blu-Ray will die like the Betamax and the MiniDisc, and like the UMD is currently doing.

Sony's arrogance lets them down.

Thats true - malky your ps2 mustve been lucky, there are huge laser problems on most ps2, the dvd drawer also usuaully falls to bits and the freezes are numerous.

meh, i know alot of people with ps2's, and i havnt heard of many problems with theirs.. i know one of my mates has had his for about 4/5 years, and he used to bring it into school every day, and that never had any problems..

andy.. how is that lying? its the price list for europe and austalisia?? please explain how a price list is lying..

personally, i wouldnt get a 360, dont like the look of them, and the only game that it has that i would play would be halo.. i like alot of the ps2 games, and i would assume that there would be the same games released for the ps3..

I didnt make the picture calm down sony boy, tbh the 360 is sleek in design in comparison to the 'black pig' of the 5kg (true weight) ps3!

dude.. i havnt 'lost' i dunno what type of game you think this is.. but all im saying is that the 360 had problems, just as the ps3 has had problems

have a look at the specs.. there isnt going to be any noticable difference between them, especially on the screens that the majority of people will play them on..

all im saying, is that personally, i dont like the look of the 360, and i quite like the look of the ps3.. i most probably wont get either (dont have that sort of money to waste on a game console) but all im saying is that just cause its delayed, that doesnt mean that its rubbish.. if i rember correctly, the 360 was delayed for a short time too.. the ps3 (according to sony's website, which ill take over a newspaper article) is due to be released 17th november 06..


both are great systems, and have alot of very advanced techology within them.. and IMO, the difference between them in terms of performance will be negliable..



and dont start with the fanboy sh!t, yes, i do like sony, only because i have one of their digi cameras, and its a good camera, but i also like microsoft.. halo is a spark of geinous, and dwindled away many hours of boredom at school (the kid who bought in the ps2 also had an xbox he didnt use, and left it at school for us to play on - rich kid..) i like both.. but personally, i hate the look of the 360, much prefer the ps3..

I never said the ps3 was rubbish mate - thats not for me to say!
