Default Power at last

this is the 3rd time trying to write this.. The power keeps flashing..

This afternoon about 1pm we had a storm roll thorugh.. We have 5-7 trees down in our complex. One hit a guys car.. At work a neighbors tree fell and landed in our parking lot.. Lots of signs, stands, and trees down. We lost power at about 1:30pm and finally got it back on about 9:30pm.

The radio said sustained wind of 70+ in the storm that hit us. But all is alright now.

Straight line winds can be as bad or worse than a tornado.
Glad you're ok.

I've heard of those straight line winds. Pretty scary. Have a HUGE ammount of wind at a fast speed knock everything down in its path.

Our neighboorhood was hit hard as well, our garage windows got blown out and a tree fell in our backyard.. it smashed part of our back pool fence. The window shields around the house held up though, although they have a few dents in the metal from the big hail. MY CAR GOT BENTED!! AHH!! 4,000 to remove 4 dumb dents! DUMB MONKEY STUPID HAIL!! ARG!!!

Well you sure got stung there, $4000.00 for a few dents. You can get that done here at the Beema specialist for Oz$1500.00 in Bundaberg. Change your panelbeater mate...
