Haha, you should be able to get a separate power supply just for your graphics card.

I think this is the first time I've seen a GPU come with 4 heatpipes from the box.

They do make power supplies specifically for video cards. For example: Toughpower Power Express

FSP also made one that fits in a spare 5.25" drive bay.

You can use a standard ATX power supply for a video card. Just jump it before starting the main system.

I want to voltmod one of those PCS+ 5830s. They overclock to almost 1GHz core on stock voltage.

That's pretty awesome. My 5770 can't hit 930mhz with 1.2 volts.

we may just need one of these to play crysis 2 when it comes out. Pretty soon a gaming computer will be the main cause of an outrageous hydro bill lol. There are already 1000W PSUs out there and if we need even more power to something that will likely be on and running for most of the day so these better have good throttling abilities when game rendering is not happening.
