Microsoft doesn't own VB. It's a company called Jelsoft. And they get real serious about pirating their software.
I just can't believe he was so stupid to try this in the first place. But 10 times as stupid to have his name in the url. He's pulled some boneheaded bulls**t at my place.

Crazy... so basically the whole point to doing something like that is to get their password.. but how does one come across that phished site anyway?..

ok guys. you gotta cool it.

He didnt get anyones password except for the tests he did himself.

And he says he wouldn't have done anything even if he had gotten them.

Wooooo, similar incident happened to me with eBay and Paypal. Yeah, definitely take a look at the web address and that it is exactly www.computerforums.org

Don't be some blindsided. So if I had a gun and wanted to kill someone yet said, "Oh don't worry I'm not going to do anything!' you'd believe it?

Anywho, guys gone, over and done with. Just check yoru stuff, change your passwords if you feel unsecure, and be done with it.
