diesel is more economical, it gives more miles to the gallon than petrol... which is why ive bought a diesel car...

1 gallon = 3.7 litres I think. Why do you ask?

Also, diesel is way more expensive than petrol over here, I've seen prices for a litre of diesel over 1 in the UK. That is extortionate.
