online course on computer repair and maintenance

Hello,

Does anyone know of any good online course on how to fix and maintain computers? I'm looking for something that'll teach the ins and outs of the most common operating systems that consumers use as well as the basics on computer hardware. I'm looking for something that will offer a certificate at the end of the course.

Is there anything like that available?

When I started of and wanted learn about different computer parts and what they are called I found this site quite help full.
I assuming you are fairly new to it? It also has information on taking it apart and repairing.

Where are you in the world mate?

in England, there's a company called OpenIT Training that let you use their study materials (audio books) online, then go and sit the exam at the nearest PROMETRIC center.

They do A+, Network+ and Security+ i think. I'm doing Network+ right now, about half done with the material.
