Default Which one will give me an better display for my 360?

So i got an SDTV in my room where my 360 is connected to. My house got one HDTV, but my parents constantly uses it, so I cant really play on the HDTV.

I got this TV

It was cheap back then, and my dad bought it, and I took it. Its pretty hard reading the Text on this TV sometimes.

I also have this monitor hooked up to my computer

I didnt buy an VGA cable yet, mainly because i wanted to know if there would be a noticeable difference. I got an Laptop, so when I play the 360, i would just use the laptop to browse the internet.

Which one do you think will give me an better display?
Thanks

That monitor has a higher resolution then your television, so use that instead.

ah, okay. I'll consider getting an VGA cable then.
Got another question. I noticed that you can use an HDMI, and an HDMI to DVI converter to use the DVI converter, and get an separate thing for the sound.
I know DVI is better than VGA overall, but I dont think the 360's display output is the same as PCs.
How much of a difference is there between VGA, and HDMI to DVI on the monitor?
