Default older notebooks?

hey guys.

i am in college and i have a dell inspiron 1720 that i purchased, cost about $2000 with updgrades and what not.

the problem is, it is 17" notebook and not too good to carry to and from college everyday... i want it to last forever.

so, i was wondering where are some places to look for CHEAP laptops.

maybe 13"-15" max, pref 14".

just to run microsoft office, and use IE, and stuff, you know college menial tasks.

thanks.

You should also look at Dell E / Asus EEE / MSI Wind. They should be in your price range.
