Default Oh wow...

Wow i've been dissing on FireFox and have been using Opera for a long time, i've decided to try FF again and now I have to say that i've been wrong for a while. FF is quite a bit faster than Opera.

Few questions though, is there a way for like the download manager and things, to open up in a new tab like Opera did with transfers?

EDIT: Also, is there a way on the bottom to where it will popup a status bar with download speeds of webpages?

Things like that are done in extensions. It's part of the beauty of Firefox (or was, it's starting to get a lot more junk added to it). You get extensions for what you want, so you don't have a load of useless features just slowing things down.

For the page timer, I'd recommend FasterFox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1269

Not sure about the other thing, look around the add-ons site:

I don't think there is to be honest, those are just the way opera does things and ff is slightly different
