Default No more motherboards?

Intel is winding down it's motherboard business over the next 3 years.

Intel to wind down desktop circuit board business | Business Tech - CNET News

I know they aren't the only makers of MoBo's but it does say soemthing when someone as big as them is ready to move on.

That's sad, Intel always made rock-solid boards.

I had one of their media boards in my last build. I'd be leary of getting another one now that they're going to not MB production.
BUT
I sure would not mind having one of these for a home theater set up > Newegg.com - Intel DC3217IYE Intel QS77 2 x 204Pin Intel HD Graphics 4000 Integrated by CPU Chassis: Aluminum and Plastic Black Next Unit of Computing Kit

I saw those. It's one of the things they said they will be concentrating on, along with mobile (ultra books and tablets)
