Hi, I am new to this forum and would like to introduce my self.
I'm 19 and am interested in computer programing as well as
networking and internet security for a profesion.
I have little experince with computers on any meaningfull level
and I'll probly be asking alot of stuped questions.

My first question is about what laptop to buy. I know this part
of the forum isn't intended for this kind of thing but non of the

would be the best computer for a power/mobility balince, what
do all of you guys think?

this is the computers specs. I went with a cheap hard drive
because its easy to upgrade later

I've heard BAD things about the M15X series, the build quality is supposedly bad... I wouldnt go with Alienwear - they are a bit of a designer brand... Look into HP and the non-designer Dell range

It's just not a thought out system.

There's some critical flaws with their current setup.

Hi Welcome to CF!

And from what I've read on other forums and blogs, many people have issues with Alienware notebooks, from cracks in the case, to hinges breaking after being used a few times, and the keys on the keyboard not staying down All of those I've mentioned are ones that have been confirmed. There are rumors as well of a bad connections between the motherboard and monitor, that causes the picture to flash on and off when there is even the slightest nudge or vibration near you.

what the hell, if they was that bad I doubt they'd still be on the market, their actually branded gear inside hence the price.

Their not for just normal pc users, their for high end pc users if you think it suits your needs go all ahead, my friend owns a alienware pc and his is great
