I've heard American hospitals will refuse to treat people dying from gunshot wounds and road accidents if they don't have medical insurance.

can't say I've heard that before. There are a lot of people here with no health insurance who get shot and are dying and so on and they still get treated. Only bad thing is that they're stuck with a huge bill afterward. Seems like US healthcare is too pricey...

I do plan to buy a lot of CD's perhaps not enough to make it worth claiming back the tax... though it could be that that reclamation of tax is enough for a whole other album...
