I saw it, but figured its not much of a concern now because it was done when I heard about it and there were millitary jets escorting it.

I do think the person is stupid like 90% of washington and should have their job removed.

I can only imagine how the people in Lower Manhattan felt when they saw "another" play flying really low.

Hmm, it is rather stupid. Wouldn't a helicopter have a better chance of producing photos?
I haven't heard of a terrorist using one of them yet, so my guess is, it would have been pretty safe

Many buildings were evacuated and thousands of people flooded the streets as they thought they were under another attack.

All this so they could get "updated photos" of Air Force One with the Statue of Liberty. Whoever thought up this photo op was a damned moron.

Yeah I heard about this the other day and was seriously disgusted. I couldnt beleive how stupid these ppl are doing this without even letting people know especially in NY. I mean they had military aircrafts with it but still WTF were they thinking after what happened on 9/11 they should have given warning. People were fleeing buildings in terror. Really STUPID move.

They could have just Photoshopped it... would have saved so much money as well because that flight will have used a fair bit of fuel.

It was a huge mistake by the government.......bad call by whoever organized this.

"Hey, lets fly a 747 around manhattan real low so everyone can see it!" "Better yet, lets fly it in the same area where the planes flew on 9/11, noone will notice!"

Panic.......go
