It also hosts automatic USB, so when you plug it up, it'll automatically see it as a USB device, and a colour space feature (basically sets it from the PSP 2000 colour pallete to the 3000 pallete)

http://uk.psp.ign.com/articles/907/9...0&RSSid=907086

So it isn't just cosmetic in changes.

It does say some games don't have any differences in terms of colour quality, because of the way companies have developed games to not take use of any more than the PSP can handle.

not yet, its not even out.
From what i have known, not all PSP is hackable now. the newer 2000 series psp cant read the things off Pandora. So now they have to find a new way.
I like my red psp, i got it from china so i think its kind of special, i might get the new one when it breaks and i want a new one, and only if its hackable.

i wonder if you can buy that display screen and switch it with the older psp.

the only thing i like about the new psp is the screen, i dont really care about the USB or the Mic thing. The USB mode is easy to access so i dont see any improvements, and i dont play games with friends that needs a mic since i am right next to them.

Also im pretty sure you can dowload a plugin for CFW to enable the auto USB...

Although the enhanced response time would be awesome!

I don't see why they would make it so it definately can't be hacked... I'm sure that secretly Sony and other manufactures think of this first

Looks great, shame my 3 brothers recently brought PSP Slim
