The concept behind Surface is innovative, but it's not practical for the general consumer. Too expensive and most people don't need it. It would be nice at high-class restaurants and casinos though.

wow! I want one, too bad the price is out of my range. This definitely is a leap in computing.

So far, that doesn't seem very practical at all, but, innovation is always good, and that may very well be where we'll be going. It gives 'desktop' computing a whole new meaning.

Thats amazing! I didn't think that was possible yet.

On what part, it shows the Microsoft Zune, like the mobiles interacting, knowing what it is.

I bet you, the Zune already has that technology built in to be used on this in reality.

Imagine you being able to draw on a table, unlike a tablet, that allows you to be a real artist with it.

Creating music with a keyboard on screen,

Editing music without having to touch a mouse, controlling volumes, etc and effects with the touch of a finger.

3D modelling by stretching and pulling

Thats just some possibilities I thought of

Yeah, especially since it seems to be pressure sensitive too, so the lighter the touch, the lighter the sound, etc... hmm

Didn't think we were that far in technology! Looks fantastic though.
