Hey everyone, i decided to join these forums mainly because i am getting into computers and have almost finalized my custom built PC. My PC knowledge is above average (Id like to say).

Asus M2N-Sli Deluxe Motherboard /w a AMD Athlon X2 3800+ processor.
Kingston HyperX DDR2 2Gb 2x1 GB 800Mhz 555 15
nVidia Geforce 7600 Silent Series 256mb graphic card (Ewwwww)
Thermaltake 430w psu

By Wednesday of this week my pc setup will be

Honestly that 7600GT isn't as a big of a problem as that 3800+, so if anything you're 'Ewwww' should be directed at that.

Indeed I will, ive been bored waiting for my parts to come in (Forgot about labor day -.-) so i tried my hand at overclocking the pc im using now. so far my highest clock (Stable at 60C temp) was 2.2ghz lowering HT to x4. Every time i try to increase the clock though, no matter how i do it, my computer will boot into windows with its default clock speed, but in the bios it will say the modified speed.
Example. freq. 240 with 10x multiplier in bios, In windows it says 2.1ghz @_@. lol, but im not good with overclocking and im still on the learning curve for advanced knowledge on them. I cant wait though, soon ill be able to play supreme commander biggest map max units with 0 lag (hopefully)
