this thread is funny. my home built celeron out performs my brothers dell that has a p4. I only have 256mb ram he has 637mb. I have a 2.4 ghz celeron he has a 2.0 ghz P4. using the same benchmark software mine outperforms his in every test. theoretically his should be faster and handle multiple task better because of the P4 and more memory. Thats the difference in low quality parts VS. higher quality parts. thats why some memory sticks cost more than others. any system that you build yourself will be better than a pre-built unit.

I've never had any probs with overheating on my dell, but I suppose if I ever started overclocking or somthing... it might start to sizzle.
