...those 8 cores are going to be ridiculously expensive. I'd guess $1,000+.

I'll probably think about upgrading to a quad core when they come out though.

They don't have 8. It's 4, plus Hyper-Threading. Remember the P4 3.0 HT? That had "two" cores. The second was Hyper-Threading. It can handle two threads per core, so basically, it's the same, just with 4 cores instead of 1.

I know the one they tested in that anandtech article was 4 physical cores, but I'm pretty sure they are making an 8 physical core version.
