Default Need some ideas for new movies to watch

So I've been talking with Uncle Torrence and have been watching some movies he gave me.

Specifically looking for action movies.

Now I need some more ideas. I've been big into action movies lately. My wife and I watch alot of movies but she doesn't do action so I'm behind in that category. In the last several days I've watched: Transformers I and Iron Man. Uncle T ( ) has given me X-Men Origins: Wolverine and GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra that I plan on watching. However after than I'm out of ideas. Any other good action movies I need to catch up on? I will probably see if Uncle T ( ) has the 3 original X-Men movies or is it 4? And I haven't seen the last Pirates of the Carribean Movie either. I'm not looking for reviews - just recommendations of some new-ish action movies. I'm looking forward to Sherlock Holmes as well as Avatar. I'll probably see about Public Enemies about John Dillinger as well (since Dayton, Ohio (his first bank robbery) is only about an 1 hour south of me and Lima, Ohio (where he broke out of jail and formed his gang) is only about 20 minutes east of me.)

Any other suggestions or any I'm forgetting? - in the action genre please.

GI Joe turns into Star Wars about halfway through. Just a warning.

If you want comedy, I can help.

Hey, I have an Uncle Torrence too, what are the odds?

I dunno, I'm not a big movie watcher and I like more comedy than action. I haven't watched a movie in a long time.

Just thought of one. If you haven't seen Defiance, it was really good.

I've seen all the comedies that are recent. It's one of our favorite genres so...

ehhh... GI Joe really wasn't good. You will get what I mean by the end of the movie.

^ Thank you for the most useless post in CF history.

Some good comedies to try out are Airplane, Monty Python series, The Princess Bride, The Jerk, and National Lampoon's Vacation.

Again, comedy is our favorite genre so I've seen pretty much every comedy worth watching. I'm looking for some recent action movies that would be worth my time to see.

Did you just mention comedies without mentioning The Hangover?

For action movies have you seen the Bourne movies? Bourne Identity, bourne supremacy, bourne ultimatem, Pulp Fiction, swordfish, Boondock Saints, The score, The transporter (series), Fight Club, Se7en, the departed just to name a few

Gangster/drug movies Goodfellas, Casino, Blow, Requim for a dream, Scarface

Man there is/was so many good movies
