Need some help here BF2 issue

the question that i have and can not seem to find an answer too is this. I recently bought a new Logitech USB headset, now for some reason when ever i have this plugged in when i am gaming, i laagggggggg like crazy, the minute i stop using it, the lag is gone.
I really don't want the answer of "JUST DONT USE IT!"
I would like to know what i might be able to do to fix this !!!!

the only thing I can think of is taht the VOIP is lagging your internet. Hvae you tried using the Logitech headset on a different computer?

i've used other headsets with no issue at all. it's only usb headsets that seem to do it. i heard other people with the same problem, and they never really go an answer either.
