okay guys, im writing a paper about computer forums... is there any sort of controversial issue you would say with computer forums? also how would you describe the community as a virtual space? I just have to get peoples opinions to add into my paper.

Haha honestly the most controversial issue here I'd say is Brookfield. Seems like most of the members here either really like him or hate him.

most controversial thing about computers is Amd vs Intel, i think peoples opinions about other people shouldnt be in a report about computer forums, unless you mean just this site itself.

Most controversial thing(s) around CF in my opinion is either.

-AMD vs Intel
-Brookfield
-or the infamous (and inevitably closed) "Which gaming platform is better? Wii, PS3 or 360?" thread

Or Ati vs nvidea.

Only talk about brook if you want your paper to sound like a script for a soap opera.
