ok i need to know how to acess the index.dat files? can you guys help me ?

Right click, select Openwith... - notepad.exe ?? I'm not really that sure, its not often I edit .dat files sorry :/

Why ? Easy to find if it exists.
Use Windows search,easy.
What do you mean by acess (access) it ?
You cant edit it.

I think you can edit them using notepad, the code comes up and I assume you can save it, the code might not be shown correctly though :/

Just open it in notepad. IT should ask you what program you want to open it with.

It's a Windows system file,forget it,just use a cookie cutter.
