My Raspberry Pi project

Project walkthrough links? I'm doing this....

And what are you using for remotes?

I have a wireless/USB 360 copy, an USB 360 copy and an USB SNES copy. By remote I hope you mean controller.

I finally got a wall mount for my 32" TV because sitting on my dresser the text are blurry. I brought it closer and made a gaming station out of it. I have an adjustable bed and gets real comfy. My dog Fisher hops on and snuggle beside me.

When I'm not playing it's flat against the wall:

When I'm comfy and turn on the Pi:

I got my microSD card Loaded with Retropie and games at Amazon but the vendor has a site:

That Logitech controller is one of my favorites.

Can you add DosBox to the collection? Some games are classics for PC gamers. Even some PC ports likes Black Thorn's version on Dos feels much better than the SNES's to me.

I remember playing Blackthorne in DOS and it's one of my fav game. The SNES port is pretty good.

There's no PC games on the Pi SG. I have a PC for that. ;)

Blackthorne on SNES is great and has better field of view but what turns me off compared to the PC's is the music and sound effects. I have tough preferences and music makes a huge difference to me. Audio on SNES sucks unless done on the hands of an master. Games like Demon's Crest, Fury Paws of (something) and Evo are good examples for that.

The Pi is a mini PC ;)

But yeah, input is a limitation here and size come to play too.

See? A typical PC is the way to go :) (don't mind me. I'm just fooling around)

I know that SG.

Ok, I got the TV tilted, whole lot better. I got another project which is to build another shelf and put the DVD player on it so I can have a movie station in the comfort of my bed.

Damn, I'm a spoiled SOB. :D

Celery, if you had your movies on a server like I've suggested in the past, you wouldn't need the shelf for the DVD player and would have access to all of your movies without ever needing to get up and change the DVD in the DVD player!

Then you'd really be a spoiled SOB!

Plus, if you digitized all your stuff you could have the Pi set up to act as a streaming receiver with plex or kodi, in addition to being a gaming station...
