Thanks. Ya, I don't know what that is. All of them were taken from my truck's passanger seat, through the windows, while moving (though sometimes we stopped). I think the 2nd sun is actually a spot on the windshield that got reflected or something like that.

Thanks Cabb's for the full shot Didn't expect you to give me the RAW file, but you did
Pretty sharp on the part where the AF was took from, just beside the light.
Not sure to be honest though if it was any sharper than the default lens would have been taking that shot.

If you have both of them set to f/8 with the 18-55 at 24mm then they're identically sharp to my eyes. However, once you go past 40mm things start to get dull with the 55mm. Another thing you'll notice is that at 18mm there is some barrel distortion. Not a whole lot, but if you take a picture of something straight then it won't appear straight in your image. Many zoom lenses do this around that focal length.
