Actually, Vice City was mostly based on the TV series Miami Vice (there is a movie coming out next month, starring Colin Ferrell and Jamie Foxx). Some of the main story probably takes some cues from Scarface, but it was mostly based on Miami Vice.

* Carlito's Way - Ken Rosenberg, Tommy Vercetti's lawyer and advisor looks and acts like David Kleinfeld from the film.

Hands down the Godfather. Such a classic movie. Infact, I'm sure if you looked up the word "Classic" in the dictionary, by definition you'd see "The God Father Part One" as the example.
