Default Money Investment

Most of you on here are too young to even care about this, but for those that are in their 20's and up, how are you investing your money? CDs, stocks, mutual funds, online banking, bonds, business, real estate, etc.? If we invest some now, it adds up pretty quick in the next 5-10 years depending on how much you invest. I'm thinking about opening a high interest CD account because it's dirt safe. I have thought about opening a low risk mutual fund portfolio, but people tell me it's like playing with stocks. What do you think?

*Fact: Microsoft Window's Blue Screen of Death vs Computerforums.org's White Screen of Death. Which is worse?
