Default Microsoft's Groundbreaking "WARP"

This could be the end of high end GPU's. Essentially what Microsoft has done is finally allowing the CPU to supplement integrated or older graphics processors to increase performance by a significant amount. Imagine even with this software if you did have a high-end card, what type of performance would be possible.

Take a look.

Its interesting but not sure if I completly understand what it is saying, especially when it comes down to the charts when playing Crysis.
Are the CPU WARP showings, without a graphics card installed? At what res? etc.

I read somewhere crysis was run at 800x600 low for the warp test.
Also won't warp slow down the os because of the extra load on the cpu?

Besides when windows 7 releases at the end of next year everyone should atleast have a dx9 video card which can run aero no problem.
