I am trying to find a way that I can get free Wireless Internet from my desktop computer. I am within a half a mile of several free wireless signals that do not require a secure password to log onto them. I am not sure if I should go with a PCI Wireless card or a USB Wireless adapter.
I have an older Emachine Computer that uses Windows 2000 Service pack 3. I am looking for the easiest way to get Wireless Internet on my computer. I would consider a Yagi Cantenna if that is not to hard to install. |

Whichever card is cheapest. Get that. I would upgrade your computer though man... You're running an 11 year old OS.

I'd second what superman said
i'd also say get your own bloody internet connection you tight-ass... Seriously pisses me off when people used to use my network with those WEP crackers. Thank Buddha for WPA2-AES.
