hey i got this extra credit could really use it will give me 3 points on my avg if i get it right


u2 has a concert that starts in 17 min. and they must all cross a bridge to get there. all four men begin on the same side of the bridge. you must help them across to the other side. it is night. there is one flashlight. a maximum of two people can cross at one time. any party who crosses either 1 or 2 people must have the flash light with them. the flashlight must be walked back and forth, it cannot be thrown ect. each band member walks at a different speed. a pair must walk together at the rate of the slower mans pace
bono 1min to cross
edge 2 min to cross
adam 5 min to cross
larry 10min to cross

can you get them across in 17 min? how?

it took me over an hour but i got it
first trip-- Bono and Edge-- 2 minutes

2nd trip-- Bono returns-- 1 minute

3rd trip-- Adam and Larry goes-- 10 minutes

4th trip-- Edge returns-- 2 minutes

5th trip-- Bono and Edge goes together-- 2 minutes

2+1+10+2+2 = 17 minutes
