For my school, if you log out from your user account, it doesn't matter if your CF account is logged off. The cookies and everything stay with your own account and doesn't appear for others.

Oh, for our school, each student has their own Student ID Number. That number is our login name, and our password is something of our choice. At the beginning of the school year, they reset everyone's password and they just use a basic password, then they tell everyone to set their own password.

Every semester, they reset the passwords again, just for security purposes. The only thing that sucks is the firewall. They blocked CF for some weird reason...
