Default Live on Msnbc: "DISCOVERY" Shuttle Launch

Go tune it, the shuttle is scheduled to go up in about a half hour. Pretty cool because it will be the first ever Independence Day lift.

Err.. I just heard 19 minuts away.

Yeah, successful launch. Man, I figure their flame trail had to be about 400 feel long. Insane, just glad they made it okay.

I live in Florida, and I am sometimes able to see the shuttle launch from my house. Just a smoke trail. Too cloudy to see it today, though. Kinda disappointed. But I can go to my grandparent's house on the water and see it from there. Further away, but better view.

Italy one I hear.

Didn't see the game but apparently Italy made some great plays and scored 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of the game.

400 feet? more like metres, & big chunks of insulating foam fell off, I fear for those guys, they rushed the launch, admitting that there were still design faults, for chrisakes, my theory, it was idiot Bush's idea, after days of delay, his only thought was, duh, "hey, fellow Americans, it's independence day now, launch quickly, launch right now, we have to celebrate, dammit, have you no pride??"
