Default Linspire?

Anyone else tried this? I just installed it today, I've always thought about trying it because everyone always used to say that 'lindows' sounded so similar to my name!

I think its an OK OS but the screen is rather crowded, but the good think is its very easy to setup and everything works straight out the box

I tried it a while back, but at the time I found it very under-whelming. It worked fine, but it didn't really seem to offer me anything special, anything that would make me leave my current distro. Of course, this was several releases ago and things may well have changed now.

Was there anything in particular that you felt it did well?

Linspire uses old kernel, old stuff in the distro. It is more bloated imo. You would be better off using Ubuntu, opensuse, etc.
