Yea, I think that is pre everyone except maybe atomic rooster here. Maybe I'm worng. I've always though everyone here was in the 16-24 range.

that medieval practice was banned in schools in the UK in 1987
except for public schools where it was banned in 1998 so Ive never had any first hand experience with the cane or any other forms of corporal punishment

I actually think that in the US its still legal, at least in some states.


Its just few use it in fear of lawsuits.

Switch maybe?

I know people that when growing up if they got in trouble they were told to go pick out their own switch.

Hell yeah...it sucked haha. One thing I learned was don't even think of trying to pick out a little switch, or one with few thorns...that pissed them off even more haha.

When I was little and went to public school (Kindergarten and 1st Grade) I remember they could paddle/spank you...I think they still can in Alabama, not really sure..
