...in a relationship, if one seeks attention too often, or one gives it too little, it will all fall apart.

Balance is key.

If you get rid of that laptop, but later find the relationship not working, you will only have yourself
to be pissed at.

If she says that you don't spend enough time with her, then just spend some time with her.

Getting rid of a personal possession to avoid temptation is also one of the worst ways to handle it...
You will go a while without.. but if at a later point you see it again, you will fuckin' lose it.

Well, it's his choice. If I have one piece of advice for you, it's that the relationship isn't going to last forever, and don't expect it to. Sounds depressing, but it's true, and if you trick yourself into believing it will, you're going to end up getting hurt.
