thinking of buying a laptop and this would be used for business and pleasure any ideas what to go for and it must be wi fi
any information would be appriciated

well... hehe thats pretty broad still. I would recommend something like

1. AMD duo core (I'm partial to AMD )
2. 4 Gb of RAM
3. N wireless network card
4. Hard drive space I'm not sure... I don't know how much you want to put on it. 256 Gb possibly?

Its rather broad as you can see
You can get this type of hardware from any supplier; Dell, Toshiba, HP, etc..
That is again up to preference. I personally like HP and my Toshiba laptop has yet to let me down...

At my school, we have issued HP elite books and they are pretty powerful machines. Decent battery life and depending on your price range, many available features.
