i dont think it should be closed it is a perfectly natural debate , nobody is flaming anyone else no one is flame baiting people are debating the point in hand like adults and i think that is a good thinkg , it helps people get their thoughts out in the open so they are not bottling it up inside then one time they just explode in a post and say stuff they dont real mean so i think debate is good it lets people get their opnions out in the open

as soon as someone takes it over the top by flame baiting or flamin then and only then should it be closed

Please be careful what you say, they're not accusations, just observations, anyway, have a look at the thread titled "furby" in the Social Lounge.

That shouldnt even be in the "ideas" of things to "accept". This is the social lounge, everything should go. If you want computer advice, you goto the specified subforum, where substantive posts are generated. A social lounge should be generally only monitored if pornography is posted(lots of forums allow it, if its linked), or vulgar language is used(which i dont know why the swear filter is not on). I dont see WHY you guys come in here and moderate the hell out of the social lounge when the whole idea of a social lounge is "anything goes". You want new members to this forum? You let anythign go in the social lounge and let your other subforums deal with the teche issues. Like i said in previous posts, i moderate a forum with 40,000 users and over 5 million posts. People LOVE to coem to our "social lounge" because they get to talk abotu whatever they want, post AS MUCH as they want, and TALK. You cant do jack in this social lounge and people dont want to post because you guys moderate the hell out of it. Peopel are afraid of posting because you guys are riding your banstick. Let people have fun and do as they wish here, its what its for. There is hardly any activity in the social lounge, which is quite depressing.

You'll probably ask why we can't just ban his IP, we can't because each time he registers he's allotted a different IP
