You don't really want an Athlon XP though. They were good at its time. But yeah, go with whatever is good at the moment and that happens to be AMD. It's a good move, for now.

Yeah, until Intel comes out with their new line of CPUs. It should be interesting to see how well they will compete with AMD's new cores coming out in 06. If AMD remain king of CPUs, then we'll all be sticking with AMD for another year or two.
