Just bought one at Wal-Mart. What's the little white thing for? Also...anyone got recommendations for apps?

It's meant to go along with that dock, which is not included.

Ah ok. Thank you. I have a quick question. Will iTunes add music from CDs?

Yep. When you insert a CD, it should ask whether or not you want to add the songs to the library.

Another question (btw you'll get rep after answering all lol). Does iTunes find all music on my computer? I just copied all the music in a shared folder to My Music because I thought it needed to be there. Now I have doubles. If I delete one set...will it go back to just one set? Or will I still have doubles?

i would go into the folder and delete the double and yes it scans all folders. when you delete somethin in iTunes itself it will ask if you want to send it to the recycle bin

I've deleted the second folder...where do I update the library? I don't see a button. F5? I'm all new to this lol.
