I noticed today that i have a dead pixel on my iPhone 3g. It is still under warranty so is it worth it to return and get a new one?

Assuming it is covered under warranty, I think that is a question that you need to ask yourself.

Yeah, do it.
My brother's first touch got one dead pixel, which he ignored. One week after the warranty ran out, it became a whole line.

I still have until next year i think, I hope i have the 2 year warranty or mine may be out.

They managed to replace my brother's at the apple store, even with an expired warranty.
If you have an option, go there.
