Invisible Tank

as already pointed out this would only be good for immobile tanks. Once the tank moves this technology just doesn't work.

Then there is the problem with nature. You have this cool thing which requires all these high tech cameras and projectors. Now what happens when you take this kind of equipment to some extreme places? Snow, sand, moisture etc don't go along with electronics too well. Both projectors and cameras need the lense to be clean in order to work effectively.

Might be more trouble than it's worth.
 
still its a start and and if it doesnt go well they would use it on fixed postions to camouflage it.

Yeah its definately a start, imagine in 5 - 10 years what the technology will be like!

They would still show up with thermal cameras right?
 
thats crazy. I'd love to see it move, and the picture lags just a bit. Its not good yet, but that technology is amazing. imagine an invisible suit in school...
 
Well, they would show up with thermal, radar, all that stuff. And like in The Hobbit, there shadows would show up.
