no they dont, the only difference between a \n empty hd and a full one is the position of all those little things that represent 0s and 1s (forget the name)

That makes sense, Thats is why there reusable. Becasue if it actually wrote on the drive. It would be like slowly laser cutting away at the disk. And then soon. Unusable.

sorry if this is a repeat..but i went straight to the bottem...
it would have to stay the same...because it doesnt add anything to the harddrive..just rearranges things by magnetic force...correct?
