But there are chips like Celerons or Pentium D's... The P4M isnt even (officially) in production now :S

Same as AMD. That's where the Tri-Core originated, I believe. Quad cores with a mal-manufactured 4th core.

I'm not being funny now, and it's great and all... but the difference between being hired by Intel and being hired by a local PC shop is pretty big!

That is very true j03 :P

Well the employer contacted my business teacher about students looking for jobs and she new i would be interested in Intel so 4 kids got interviews arranged. i should know by Wednesday if i got the job or not
