Default installing a credit card reader

ok so at work my store uses this old crappy phoneline credit card reader and is breaking down on us
on our computer which we use to ring up theres a credit card reader built into the key board and the computers hooked up to the internet...how do i make it so we can use this?

Google the Make and Model. Find the manufacturer's website and search for drivers. Every device needs drivers to be optimized or work at all.

I told David I wasn't going to be coming around any more but just had to answer this question.

The reader is a part of the software package. It has to be activated by the software vendor. Also an account has to be set up with the vendor and bank to handle the card transactions. It's not a push pull click click operation. You have to jump through some hoops first.
