true, microsoft is superior in marketing. But you can't measure if it's good or not by looking at how popular it is. Personally, I've never been a big fan of microsoft products, but I'm still using win xp most of the time. Just because I haven't had the patience to make games work with linux.

I'd make that number something like 80%.
For everything except gaming, I prefer linux. But since I play quite much, most of the time I'm on win xp.
